Super Santa!
Once upon a time in the land of Goober there lived Turkeys and Goblins. It was the night of the Thanksgiving dance and all the Turkeys and Goblins were attending this special dance that was taking place at a haunted house. While they were dancing and having fun there was a Turkey named Aki and a Goblin named Fiso and they thought that it would be funny to pour some secret potion into everyones drinks. As they seen people taking a sip from their cup they couldn't help it but to laugh out loud and not let anyone know what they had done. It was getting late and the dance was still going on like there was no tomorrow. The clock strike 12 and a lot of Turkeys and Goblins were falling down like something was wrong with them. As soon as they stood up and turned towards Aki and Fiso they noticed that the potion they poured into their drinks turned them into zombies. The Zombie Turkeys and Goblins started to cause trouble to the good Turkeys and Goblins that weren't turned into zombies. It was getting out of control and Aki and Fiso didn't know what to do so they hid. One of the Turkeys named Moe remembered one time when he was in trouble a guy saved him and told him whenever he needs help to shine the "S" symbol flashlight in the sky and he will be their to help. As Moe searched for his bag around the haunted house he saw one of the zombies by it and he knew he couldn't just go and grab so he played a little prank on the zombie he ran up behind the zombie tied his shoe laces together and tapped him on his right shoulder as the zombie turned around Moe ran to the zombies left side and grabbed his bag, but right when he was about to escape the zombie spotted him and took a step to get him but the zombie not knowing his shoelaces are tied together he tripped and fell right in front of Moe. Moe was super happy he escaped and started to giggle at the fallen zombie. Moe ran up to the roof top reached into his backpack, grabbed the flashlight and shined it into the sky. Help arrived in a short period of time, he was flying through the sky. All the zombies stopped and stared into the sky because they heard bells ringing, and a guy yelling "HO, HO , HO!" "Santa is here to save the day what's wrong!" Santa said. "Something happened to our friends, they turned into zombies!"as Santa looked around he spotted Aki and Fiso hiding, so he sent his two reindeers rudolph and prancer to get them and bring them up. "Okay, what did you two do now?, and don't act like you didn't do anything because you two been on my naughty list". "We are so sorry Santa we didn't mean for this to happen, we poured potion into everyones drinks and they turned into zombies". Santa gave them a disappointed look and reached into his sack and grabbed this special powder, he sprinkled it everywhere and turned everyone back into regular Turkeys and Goblins. "You two will not be receiving any presents this year, UNLESS you show me that you deserve them by first, apologizing to everyone, second, doing all your chores, and third, eating your vegetables". "Yes we will do all of that Santa and we wont be naughty any more. Please give us presents" Aki and Fiso pleaded. "You have my word" Santa said and he flew off. "Thank you so much for calling Santa, Moe you truly are special!" Fiso said. The dance continued on after Fiso and Aki apologized and they lived happily ever after with receiving presents on Christmas.
3 movie questions!
1) They played up religious conflicts more by having more religions in the movie. The movie consisted of the Celtics, the witch, Christians, and the Nor-Scotts.
2) The major changes in the plot was that Beowulf wasnt really the "super hero" i was looking for. There was less action in the movie from the book. There werent as much of creatures from what the book has. Also in the movie Grendel cut his own arm off.
3) All of these changes were effective because there was less action in the movie and more talking. I was hoping it would be exciting as the book was but it wasnt.

Car Crash! sonnet
I lost the wheel upon the road one night
Driving and speeding at night with no control
The wheel swerving around left and right
The car starts flipping from hitting the pole
I blacked out right after the crash
Thinking i was going to pass away
Waking up seeing the red and blue lights flash
This all happened in the month of may
Doctors talking, trying to help me out
I enter the E.R, they start to clean me up
They say i will live without a doubt!
I try to relax but my brain was so corrupt
As fear was in my eyes that night
I only drive slow in the light.

"Sasa!" (Disciplinary action)
Growing up as a child was not an easy thing for me. Watching some of my friends being spoiled from their parents made me jealous, I always felt like my parents didn't love me as much thats why they didnt get me the things i desired. When i made wrong choices i had to learn the hard way, and it wasn't being sent to my room for a time out or just getting yelled at with them pointing a finger in my face. Whenever i did something wrong my parents made sure i recognized what i did incorrect and they would punish me to make sure that i don't do it again.
Fighting with my siblings, getting a phone call home from school, swearing, and stealing, are all reasons why i get punished. In my house hold we are Samoan and the Samoan word for spanking is "sasa". When i made a wrong choice i knew what was coming and i would be terrified, mostly from my dad. My dad would discipline us with whatever he could find, but mostly with his belt. My mom wasn't that brutal but she still beat us with a big wooden spoon and as a young kid that still hurts when your hand gets whacked hard with a big wooden spoon. When they did this it made me realize that i didnt want to have this feeling of pain again so i made sure that i didnt repeat what i did wrong.
As I talked to my friends about this i came to figure out that they too get beatings at home when they done something incorrect. We always discussed how much we hated getting beat by our parents. We came to found out that its a polynesian thing, because as we watched our other class mates that werent polynesian get in trouble they would only get yelled at but no physical contact.
Now that we are grown and in high school me and my friends have came to a point were we understand why we got disciplined that way and it may sound funny but I am happy that I got whacked with belts, hangers, sticks, and wooden spoons. This made me who I am today. I have grown to learn to have great respect for others, especially to those who are older than me. They taught me that i dont have to have everything that i want or that my friends have. They made sure that i didnt grow up to be a spoiled brat. Last of all, i honestly believe that through all these beatings it made me become tough and strong.
As other people read this they may think of it as child abuse. I strongly dont believe that what my parents did to me was abuse, I consider it as love. They showed there love to me by showing me that they care for me and my future by not wanting me to make poor mistakes or choices in my future. What i consider abuse is going beyond what my parents have done. They disciplined me when i made bad choices, if a parent beats their child for no reason then that is consider abuse to me because they dont know what they are getting beaten for. When parents hit their child non stop and keep whacking them with objects or their hands and feet that is also considered as child abuse to me because you have to know when to stop beating them. You have to give them a sense of feeling where they dont want to do it again, not the kind of feeling that makes them want to run away and always be afraid of you. Discipline your children the right way, don't abuse them!
Nadia Habib
My opinion towards Nadia Habibs situation is that the U.S should just allow her to stay in the U.S already. The reason why i say this is because she been living in America since she was a baby and she graduated from high school already and now she is a Junior at Stony Brook University. If she was 3 years old or younger and they were sending her and the mom back then i would understand that but she is 19 years old already, she is an adult. They should allow her to stay and just get her into the process of making her a U.S citizen so that she can stay and finish college. If they send Nadia and her mother back to Bangladesh they will be seperating a family. Nadia and her mom will be leaving their father and nadias 3 siblings that were born in the U.S. The U.S should just allow her to stay so that she can finish school and be with her family.

"The catcher in the rye"
If you really want to hear about it , the first thing you will probably want to know is how i first heard or picked up the book. During my Junior year, which was last year i would always see kids walking around with a orange book in their hands. They would be walking to their next class reading it, eating breakfast/lunch while reading it or even reading this book in their classes. I started to wonder if this was a very popular book or if it was just a class assignment. Right now i am a senior attending high school. One day i walked into my english class and my teacher started to hand out a book to us. Every time a student received the book their eyes would open wide like they just received a million dollars so i was really excited to see what book we were going to start reading. The book i got was the book i seen a lot of kids reading. I was confused when i first received the book because the title was "The Catcher in the Rye" but there was a picture of a carousel.
The teacher started to share her feelings about the book and so have some students. Some people said that they enjoyed the book because sometimes you can see yourself in the main character because o fthe way he acts to everything around him and the way he talks. When I heard this i still thought that this was going to be another boring book. I don't enjoy reading books at all. As days went by and we read through the book i ended up liking this book a lot. The reason why i believe i enjoyed it is because i can see my self as the main character.
Holden is the name of the main character in this novel. He is a very interesting, funny guy to read about. The comments he makes, the actions he does, and the tricks he plays is what gets me to enjoy this book. Holden has a problem thought, he seems like he is heading in a direction that is taking him no where in life. He has been messing up in school and gets lost in his own life and needs to find the right path to help him gain a better future.
In this novel there is a lot that happens with Holden. He experiences a lot of emotions. No one really takes the time to try and understand him or find out the real reason why his life is messed up. Holden has a horrible past that may be the reason why he is acting up in these strange ways. Holden needs to find help as soon as possible so he doesn't ruin anyone else's future as well as his.
"The Catcher in the Rye" was a very interesting book. When i first got it i thought it was going to be boring like all other books but it wasn't. This book made me laugh and sometimes agree with the main character "Holden". I would definitely prefer more classes to read this book and see if they can see themselves as Holden.

Hide and go eat!
Imagine playing hide and go seek with your friends during lunch time in the cafeteria approximately everyday. The high school that i attend doesnt allow us to go off campus to get our own lunch, so everyone in school either eats the school lunch or brings home lunch. Being a football player is very tough. When you become a member of the team you become sealed into a brotherhood. It seems like every little thing you eat or drink you have to share with your teammates because they are always asking if they can have a bite of this, or a sip of that. Its hard to say no because then it will make me feel very selffish.I dont mind sharing here and there but everyday they are always asking. For once i would like to enjoy my own lunch by myself. Evertime i am in lunch line i know that there are the same boys that always ask to have some food are staring at me because they have in mind "oh alright hes getting food, so ill ask him to share with me". This is when hide and go seek comes in. As soon as i get my lunch i duck down hiding behind everyone standing in line and i place my self on a random table that is far from the football boys so that they cant find me. When they notice i havent returned with my lunch they start walking around the cafeteria looking for me, and once they have found me, its GAME OVER!
The reason why i chose the title to be "Hide and go eat" is because it sounds just like "Hide and go seek" but what i do is very similar to hide and go seek. Everytime i get my lunch i have to hide from my friends and they will do whatever it takes to find me so that they can eat some of my food. Football boys are always hungry. The football boys are savages, if they want something from you they will hunt you down to get it. The only way to enjoy your lunch by your self is by hiding somewhere good and eating fast.
